In this episode, I discuss the battle between spirituality (e.g. law of attraction) and mental health (e.g, thought action fusion/magical thinking) concepts, and how it is that some individuals can find the law of attraction so triggering while others find it immensely helpful. I talk about how I think spirituality and mental health treatment can be complementary to one another, and how law of attraction can actually support the process of Exposure and Response Prevention. You’ll hear my thoughts on how to respond to “triggering” information and how to be more flexible and adaptable to the world around you.
