Why self-help can be even better than traditional therapy

Think about the last great self help book you read. Not the one where some bro tells you we all have the same 24 hours and maybe you should drink water. I’m talking about the self-help book you actually *implemented*.
 
We used to view self help as good for non-mental health things. And therapy as the only option for the deep sh*t. But that’s not true anymore. Therapy can be helpful if the quality is high. What if I just have anxiety, or panic, or social phobia, or…

You'll soon see that, while I reference OCD and anxiety the most frequently, I talk about the process of all of these conditions - which is very much the same. Therefore, the way we should be treating and addressing them are also very similar. Someone with anxiety, social phobia, or any other anxiety-related condition would likely benefit from this course. You also do not need a formal diagnosis for this course.

Can I use my HSA/FSA for this?

The good news is, you might be able to use your HSA/FSA funds! The bad news is, I can't tell you for sure. You will have to call your policyholders to check with them as plans differ so widely from individual to individual. I also am not able to write you a letter of necessity on anyone's behalf.

Do I need a diagnosis? What if I’m a therapist?

You do not need a formal diagnosis of OCD, anxiety, or any other condition to benefit from the material within these courses or products. There are plenty of individuals inside the courses and community who have a diagnosis and plenty who do not have a diagnosis. If you are a therapist, you will also find this material helpful as my process in teaching the concepts is much the same whether I'm teaching an individual with OCD or anxiety or a therapist. 

I'm worried I'll need more 1:1 support. Do you see clients?

While I don't accept 1:1 clients, I do give priority to my Blueprint students via their program and their Circle community. Nick is also able to connect with students by offering 1:1 support, group consultations, and more.

I get overwhelmed easily and it seems like a lot. Is this right for me?

Feeling overwhelmed easily is common and is the reason we include a thorough onboarding program with weekly group calls for the first week that are rotating, ongoing, and open to all members of any blueprint program. The onboarding process consists of weekly Zoom calls where we’ll discuss how to get the most out of the blueprint and tackle feelings of overwhelm, perfectionism, and other common obstacles to implementing the material. 

How long do I have access to the course?
