Being a mom is one of the most rewarding experiences, but it can also be incredibly challenging, especially when you’re dealing with anxiety! Finding the right support can make a world of difference, and for many moms, podcasts have become a lifeline. Whether you’re looking for expert advice, real-life stories, or just some comforting words, there’s a podcast out there for you.
In this blog post, I’ll be sharing some of the best podcasts for moms with anxiety, including my own podcast where I dive deep into mental health topics and offer a ton of support for moms.
I started my podcast with the mission to provide a safe space for people to discuss their mental health, share their struggles, and find comfort in knowing they are not alone. My 180+ episode podcast focuses on practical advice, expert insights, and personal stories that resonate with moms dealing with anxiety. Not only am I someone who has dealt with anxiety myself since I was a child, I’ve been working with people who have OCD and anxiety since 2008. On each episode, I aim to offer support, understanding, and actionable strategies that encourage you (and give you the kick in the ass you need) to navigate your mental health journey.
One of the most impactful series on my podcast for moms was the “Anonymom” series. In these episodes, moms came on anonymously to share their stories, struggles, and triumphs. I’ve heard over and over again about how this series has been a game-changer for many listeners, providing a platform for honest and raw conversations about motherhood and anxiety. The anonymity allows moms to speak freely and openly, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Listeners appreciate hearing real stories from real moms, which helps them feel less isolated in their own experiences.
Here are some of my most popular (and personal favorite) episodes from my podcast for moms with anxiety. Names have been changed to protect the identity of the mom:
